My name is Serguei Totrov. I came to Canada in the beginning of 1997 and almost immediately decided to work in financial industry, because back in Russia my education background was in Economics and Finance. In 1984 I graduated from Moscow Institute of Directors with a concentration in “Organization of Direction of Production”.

From 1997 through to 2000 I worked with “Clarica” insurance company. I decided that working for just one company is not right, because no single company can offer the best product in every sector, at the end of year 2000 I began to work as an independent Financial Consultant. This is when I began to work with my first help, Svetlana. I believe that our office came into existence when I was no longer working by myself.

Therefore, our company “Financial Services – Serguei Totrov” was established in December of 2000 and offers services in different financial fields. We are licensed to create contracts with insurance, investment companies, banks and financial institutions.

I have completed a three-year course “Certified Financial Planner”, main purpose of which is to provide a full picture of financial planning for a family: all types and variations of insurance, investments, pension planning, government pension plans, taxation and different options to save money for children’s education, as well as many other topics. Of course I continue my education and increase my qualification, to be able to assist you in making right decision in different financial situations.

Currently, apart from me, our office employs eleven people.

Lana – Office manager and has been working with us since year of 2000. She is a licensed mortgage broker and takes full care of that side of our business.

Elena – Has been working with us since year 2002. She is responsible for issuing insurance contracts: Life, Critical Illness and Disability Insurance, Group and Individual Health Benefits.

Maya – Joined us in 2004 and responsible for processing medical insurance program Travel Insurance and Visitors Insurance. She also opens savings account in Manulife Bank.

Valya – Senior mortgage assistant and compliance officer in mortgage department, joined us in 2009.

Nataly – Works with us since 2009 and is responsible in working with investment companies and processing RRSP, TFSA and RESP contracts.

Alyona – Working in mortgage department since 2011 and responsible for appraisals.

Lyuba – Joined us in 2011 and responsible for processing medical insurance program Travel Insurance and Visitors Insurance.

Tanya – Has been working with us since the beginning of 2012 and transforming all information to electronic files.

Alla – Office assistant, joined us in 2012. Working in investment department, responsible for clients data base and for newsletters.

Galya – Mortgage assistant, joined us since 2015.

Natasha – Our receptionist since 2015.
